Blood Perfusion in Treating Kidney Failure

Blood perfusion is a kind of blood purification technology. In physiology, perfusion is the process of delivery of blood to a capillary bed in the biological tissue. The word is derived from the French verb "perfuser" meaning to "pour over or through."
In blood perfusion, blood of renal failure patients is led to a perfusion machine in which, there is solid absorption agents so as to clear away the toxins and to purify the blood in renal failure patients. Blood perfusion can also be used to treat excessive medications intake and poisoning. Because there is immune absorption facilities, blood perfusion can also be called immune absorption.

Principle of blood perfusion: we mainly use it to prevent instead of treatment. For ESRD(end stage renal disease)patients,on the basis of regular hemodialysis, they should choose either of the following one according to their own specific condition.
1. regular treatment schedule
In the first month, kidney failure patients undergo dialysis once a week. 1 month later, undergo dialysis one time in half month. When the condition improved a lot, patients can choose maintainance treatment.
Indications: it is suitable for kidney failure patients who have dialysis for more than one year and there have appeared many complications.
2. maintainance (prevention)dialysis
In this schedule, kidney failure patients one time every 2 weeks or even one month.
Indications: maintainance (prevention)dialysis is fit for those who undergo dialysis less than one year. There are also no complications or the complication is not so serious. It is also suitable for those whose condition is stale after regular treatment.
